Me and my family decided to pick San Juan as our first family vacation of the summer due to finding a great flight deal with Jetblue flying MINT class for 29k points from JFK! And we are so glad we came! Although we only stayed for a short weekend, it was just enough time to take a break from the hustle and bustle of a working mom life! I will say I was very happy with the food and drinks at Lola’s and the buffet was not too bad as long as you made sure you got the omelette and waffles! The drinks at Ocean Restaurants were amazing and the calamari there is a do not miss! I would skip dining at Caribar and maybe just go there for drinks and music.
For a truly exceptional dining experience, visit Morton’s The Steakhouse, where succulent cuts of prime beef are perfectly grilled to perfection. The restaurant’s elegant ambiance and impeccable service create an atmosphere of sophistication that is hard to match.
If you’re in the mood for authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, head to Palmeras Restaurant. Here, you can savor traditional dishes made with locally sourced ingredients while enjoying panoramic views of the ocean. I really enjoyed the option of a kid friendly pool as well as the main pool. The multiple hot tub options were a plus!
